Device in two parts often used in pairs for handling cases. The invention relates to a device with handles making it possible to handle boxes in a practical manner; the cost decreases with the number of cases. It is constituted by a slide (7) permanently fixed to the case (10), into which slide is fitted a handle (9) which self-locks when force is applied by a slight pivoting due to a functional play between the slide (7) and the handle (9). When the force on the handle (9) ceases, the latter can be withdrawn from the slide (7) in order to be used again on the next case, and so on. The device according to the invention is particularly advantageous for handling beehives. <IMAGE>
