The security of the walls (3) and doors (4) of strong rooms is increased by reinforcing the concrete with tubes (6, 7). The tubes are filled with small, non-spherical bodies which are formed from a hard cast material. These small bodies prevent the drilling of holes through the door, or wall, even when diamond tipped drill bits are used. The bodies are of different shapes and dimensions. The max. dimension of each hard body is 10 mm. The tubes, which are filled with the hard bodies, are arranged in an irregular pattern. ADVANTAGE - Low-cost design, use of conventional components, and high drilling protection.
