PURPOSE:To prevent residue of air in a tire and a flaw on the surface from occurring and to perform vulcanization without prolonging vulcanization time by supplying both a heating medium and a pressurized medium having pressure higher than the pressure of this heating medium directly or via a bladder to an elastomer article alternately at a plurality of times. CONSTITUTION:An elastomer article 8 is fitted to the vulcanization chamber 6a of a mold 6. Thereafter, steam or heating gas utilized as a heating medium and gas utilized as a pressurized medium are supplied to the article 8 directly or via a bladder 7. Then, a valve V3 is closed and steam is resupplied for a prescribed time. When quantity of heat necessary for vulcanization is obtained, a valve V2 is made to a closed state and also a valve V1 is made to an opened state and the gas is supplied. Then, the valve V1 is made to a closed state and also a valve V4 is made to an opened state and a mixed body in the bladder 7 is exhausted. The valve V4 is made to the closed state and also a valve V5 is made to an opened state and the mixed body in the bladder 7 is sucked. The pressure in the bladder 7 is regulated to 0 and thereafter a press is made to an opened state and the vulcanized and molded tire is taken out from this vulcanizer 1. |
