PURPOSE:To identify a caller depending on the difference from a ring tone pattern by identifying a kind of a character code of a reception message in response to the kind of a frame synchronizing signal received independently of a reception address and displaying the received message so as to make the reception address and the caller correspondent with each other one by one. CONSTITUTION:When a frame synchronizing signal is detected, a decoder 4 stores the kind of the frame synchronizing signal SC, starts a CPU 6 to execute the reception and decoding of a succeeding message signal M. Then the decoder 4 sounds a speaker 12 via an amplifier 11 depending on a ring tone pattern corresponding to the reception address and informs the callout to a receiver carrier. On the other hand, the CPU 6 reads the kind of the frame synchronizing signal stored in the decoder 4 and a display control section 8 decodes a character code of a message data based on a relevant character code decode rule. As a result, a message data is displayed on an LCD 9 as a message.
