PURPOSE:To safely and efficiently transmit energy by taking the safety for eyes of human beings and the transmission loss of optical fibers into consideration to use the laser light whose wavelength is about 1.5mum. CONSTITUTION:A receiver 30 and a transmitter 31 are connected by one optical fiber 12. Power laser light whose wavelength is 1.5mum or longer and signal laser light whose wavelength is different from this power laser light are sent to the optical fiber 12 from the reception end, and the transmitter 31 branches this power laser light and drives a solar battery 37 to obtain a circuit power source and modulates this signal laser light with a process variable to send it to the reception end. Thus, the safety for retinae of human beings is improved, and the laser light of high power is used to obtain the power source of the transmitter 31, and the transmission efficiency is improved. |
