<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from damaging by being drawn strongly by providing a capstan moving mechanism which is inserted into a loop of a tape loaded in a tape travel path and moves the tape with a tape driving device for travel driving. CONSTITUTION:A large-diameter capstan 11 is arranged outside the tape cassette 1 and inserted into the loop of the tape 4 loaded in the tape travel path 9 by loading devices 5 and 6, and 7 and 8. Then the capstan moving mechanism 110 is moved between the tape driving device. Namely, this mechanism 110 can inserts the large-diameter capstan 11 into the nearly triangular loop of the loaded tape 4 on the take-up side 42 outside the tape cassette 1 with a margin. Therefore, the degree of freedom of the designing of the diameter and shaft length of the capstan 1 becomes extremely large and the tape 4 is accessed fast and travels stably.</p> |
