The folding gravity-operated door protects doors and windows. It comprises individual steel plates (1), the top one of which (2) hinges. The plates are joined together by riveted hinges (3), and are pulled upwards by a steel rope (4) winding via a roller (5) onto a shaft (6), being secured there by a locking hook (7). The release mechanism for the hook can be operated by a relay (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - Simplicity of installation for protection against intruders.
