Equipment esp. for bathing in full-size or hip baths has a tub (1) contg. a separator wall (3), esp. in the form of a separator foil, for sepg. the tub upper space (5) from a lower space (7) which forms a heat reservoir. Lower space (7) comprises a layer or a chamber (7) having a convection-inhibiting region at least at the side facing the separator wall (3) in the sitting or lying zone. Convection-inhibiting region is pref. formed by a granular filling (13) of elastomeric material, polystyrene, hard or soft plastics, cork, silicone, ceramic and/or carbonate.
