The seal-unit (24) has seals for rotary and straight movements for sealing a component leading through a wall (22, 23) from an inner to an outer space (21). The seals are fixed by an elastically inner-coated sleeve (42) on the component and assembled into a set consisting of a wiper facing the outer space (21) and a corrugated sealing ring facing the inner and outer (21) space. The seals have outer sealing and wiper lips resting on a bushing joined to the wall (23, 23). The sleeve (42) has a flange facing the outer space (21) and possessing an edge sloping towards the outer space (21). USE/ADVANTAGE - The sealing unit has a simple structure and is long-lasting under extreme operating conditions.
