Forming total dental prosthesis

The method forms a dental prosthesis, partic. a total one, with a top- or bottom-jaw base, using a milling machine. The base(23) is milled out from a plastic material block to match the contours of the mouth cavity in contact with it, and forms the initial product for further operations to form the prosthesis. The contour can be determined by taking an impression. The contour and surface scanning can be helped by using data stored in a computer. The intermediate space between the base and teeth can be completed by matching to preprogrammed radii of curvature stored in the computer.
