Vehicle air conditioner evaporator desiccator - has pipe system separate from heating circuit through heat exchanger

To free the air conditioner evaporator from moisture after operation with coolant, the evaporator (3) should be briefly heated, pref. using a pipe system (8) near the evaporator and linked to the engine cooling circuit. The pipe system is separated from a heating circuit (6) through a heat exchanger (4) by means of a valve (control valve 10, nonreturn valve 12). The pipe system has an electrically driven conveyor. USE/ADVANTAGE - Motor vehicles, air conditioning. Inbuilt evaporator de-moisturiser keeps system fresh in service and keeps condensation out of interior.
