<p>Storage and retrieval machine comprising at least one vertical mast (1) and a lifting platform (7), the mast being mounted on a chassis (2) equipped with rollers (3) for its displacement along two parallel guide rails (4), said mast, or each mast, being telescopic and comprising at least two elements which are movable in relation to one another, the first element (5) being directly connected to said chassis (2) and the last element (6) bearing said platform (7) being mounted slidingly along this last element (6), characterised in that the sliding movement of the platform (7) along the last element (6) and the movement of the various elements in relation to one another is carried out by means of a chain, unique to each mast, (9) which has a point (10) connected to the platform (7) and passing over at least one pinion (11 to 14) situated in the vicinity of each end of each element, the pinion (12) situated in the vicinity of the lower end of each element (6) other than the first constituting the output pinion of a reduction gear (18), connected to said element (6), the input pinion (19) of which is driven in rotation by the section of chain situated between the upper pinion (13) and the lower pinion (14) of the preceding element (5), and in that a drive motor (16), mounted on said chassis (2), drives in rotation a motive pinion (15) for driving said chain (9). <IMAGE></p> |
