A capsule made from cardboard or equivalent material, comprising two sides 18,19 having end tabs 20-23, a base 11 having two end tabs 16,17, and a lid 10 which is provided with two end tabs 12,13 and one side tab 14 at least partially overlapping the one of the capsule sides 18, and a tear strip 15 running at a distance from the last-named side tab substantially parallel thereto. This tear strip enables the lid 10 to be torn off and removed so that the content of the capsule become visible and accessible, whilst remaining parts of the capsule form a cohesive unit by virtue of the fact that the end tabs 20- 23 of the sides, at each end of the capsule, are connected by means of adhesive members 27 to the end tabs 16,17 of the base. The two end tabs 12,13 of the lid 10 and the end tabs 20,21 overlapping the side tab 14 of the capsule side 18 are provided with punch holes 25,26, which are arranged to cooperate through hooking, so that an attempt to open the capsule without removal of the lid 10 results in damage to the punch holes 25,26 and provides indication that the capsule has been opened improperly. <IMAGE> |
