PURPOSE: To change a diameter quickly and correctly, to increase a cutting speed and to allow a high feeding rate by slidably arranging two cutters in a support body removably fixed to the tip of an elongate support means. CONSTITUTION: Two same cutter blocks 54 are held in a guide passage 52, each cutter block 54 has a nearly rectangular cross section, and a flat radial outer face 56 is provided. The outer face 56 is slid in use in contact with the plane extending in parallel to the longitudinal axis of a shaft 10 on the surface of the guide passage 52 and the inner face of a washer 44 fixed to a support body 38 to face them. The radial inner face of each cutter block 54 is normally a plane, and the cutter blocks 54 are slid in use to face each other. The support body 38, washer 44 and two cutter blocks 54 are integrally fixed to or removed from the tip of the shaft 10 as an independent unit without disassembling parts. |
