<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality and safe product easily by forming the front side member and the rear side member of an air bag main body with a pattern textile integrally, and in a bag form of double cloth respectively, and at the same time, forming linear single cloth parts at specific part of the bag-form part. CONSTITUTION:An air bag main body 12 is formed of a pattern textile, and the front side member 14 and the rear side member 15 of the air bag main body 15 are formed integrally in the weaving process. While the front side member 14 and the rear side member 15 are formed in a circular bag form with a double cloth respectively, the outer peripheral edge 16a of the gag form part 16 is formed in a single cloth. Furthermore, linear single cloth parts 18 are formed at the parts of the bag-form part 16, so as to regulate the expanding form of the bag-form part 16. As a result, it is unnecessary to sew each other after forming the front side member 14 and the rear side member 15 separately, and the rider can be protected from a direct hitting of the air bag main body 12 as well as any dispersion in its shape can be eliminated.</p> |
