<p>PURPOSE:To quickly obtain the accurate coordinates by reading the correction value for a decided section out of a storage means and correcting the coordinates of a pointed position based on the correction value. CONSTITUTION:A storage means stores the coordinate correction value for each section of a coordinate detecting substrate 1, and a deciding means decides a section of the substrate 1 to which a position pointed by an input pen 5 belongs. Then the correction value of the decided section is read out of the storage means, and the coordinates of the pointed section is corrected based on the correction value. In other words, the error of the detected coordinates of each section is measured with a proper jig for the completed products which are sampled for each lot. This error, however, is integrated from the errors caused by various factors. In this respect, the accurate coordinates can be obtained just by adding or subtracting the correction value to or from the detected coordinates in the case of detection of the coordinates as long as the correction values are previously written into the storage means for those errors.</p> |
