PURPOSE:To obtain the subject stabilized aqueous dispersion useful as auxiliaries, etc., for the textile industry at a low cost by mixing a solution of a water- dispersible synthetic resin in an organic solvent, etc., with water in a specific mixer, dispersing the resultant mixture in water, etc., and then distilling and removing the organic solvent in the aforementioned solution. CONSTITUTION:For example, if a solution of a hydrophilic group-containing isocyanate-terminated prepolymer in an organic solvent, etc., are preferably used as a solution or dispersion of a water-dispersible synthetic resin in an organic solvent, the above-mentioned solution is continuously mixed with a mixture obtained by adding a diamine or diimine to water at (0:1)-(1:1) ratio based on the isocyanate and further a base or acid other than the diamine, etc., as a neutralizing agent thereto in a tubular mixer (tubular mixer) in which plural mixing elements without any mobile part are fixed to the interior thereof to dissolve and disperse the aforementioned solution, etc., in water. The organic solvent is then removed by a stirred film type thin film evaporator to afford the objective aqueous dispersion with 15-60wt.% solid content. |
