PURPOSE:To save the useless movement of a rocking driving means by detecting that powder toner becomes in a cone shape in a discarded toner container from the inclination of the toner container and rocking the container only at this time so that the cone-shaped powder toner is made even. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted of the discarded toner container 16, a container supporting means, a toner guiding means 36, a sensor 30 for detecting the inclination of the container 16 which is inclined by a specified angle or more, and the rocking driving means 26. When the powder toner in the discarded toner container 16 becomes in a cone shape, the container 16 is inclined and the inclination is detected by the sensor 30, then the means 26 is driven. The means 26 rocks the container 16 so as to make the cone-shaped powder toner in the container 16 even. Thus, the useless movement of the means 26 is saved. |
