PURPOSE: To increase the print speed to reduce a rate or dirt or holes by making the radius of the aperture of a control electrode shorter than that of a shield electrode. CONSTITUTION: A print head structure body 14 has a sandwich structure where a control electrode 34 is attached to one side of in insulating base member 31 and a shield electrode 32 is attached to the other side. The outline of a hole 36 piercing the print head structure body 14 is determined by a circular aperture of the control electrode 34 and circular apertures of the shield electrode 32 and the base member 31. In this case, the diameter of the aperture of the control electrode 34 is shorter than that of the corresponding aperture of the shield electrode 32. Thus, toner supply is adjusted with a low switching voltage, and a rate of storage of toner having an erroneous polarity on the print head structure body 14 is minimized, and the print speed is increased. |
