PURPOSE:To prevent deviation in transfer caused by the influence of a fixing roller from occurring and to improve image quality by providing a circumferential speed control means for making the circumferential speed of the fixing roller higher or lower than that of a photosensitive body in a controller. CONSTITUTION:A position detector 23 is provided close to the fixing rollers 21 and 22, and the 1st circumferential speed control means 29 in the controller 24 controls so that the circumferential speed of the fixing rollers 21 and 22 is higher than that of the photosensitive body 3 at the time of not fixing. Therefore, the deviation in transfer caused by the contraction of an image is prevented from occurring when a transfer paper rushes in the fixing rollers 21 and 22. Furthermore, when the position detector 23 outputs a transfer paper leading edge passing signal at the time of fixing, the 2nd circumferential speed control means 30 controls so that the circumferential speed of the fixing rollers 21 and 22 is lower than that of the photosensitive body 3. Therefore, the difference of the circumferential speeds by actuating the 1st control means 29 and the 2nd control means 30 is absorbed as the deflection of the transfer paper between the photosensitive body 3 and the fixing rollers 21 and 22. Thus, the elongation of the image caused by the difference of the circumferential speeds of the fixing rollers 21 and 22 and the photosensitive body 3 is prevented and the deviation in transfer is prevented from occurring. |
