<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the break of a microprocessor for debugging by providing an acknowledge control circuit for inputting a break mode signal for selecting whether the break is caused or not, and outputting an acknowledge signal, when the execution of an instruction with trap is ended. CONSTITUTION:When a break mode signal 11 inputted to a trap control circuit 14 is inactive, when a trap request 13 becomes active, an acknowledge request 16 becomes active and it is transmitted to an acknowledge control circuit 18. Subsequently, when an execution end signal 17 for informing the end of execution of an instruction in that case becomes active, a non-break acknowledge 19 becomes active. In such a way, the end of execution of an instruction with trap is transmitted to the outside without breaking a microprocessor 1 for debugging.</p> |
