The TV receiver with free movement about two axes is installed in a head section (2) simulating the appearance of a human head, mounted on a base (3) which encloses the driving gear. The TV receiver can move forwards and backwards on rollers (11) and driven wheels (10). Antenna feed and audio-visual cassette recorder connections are made to a socket plate (12), and a power supply cable (13) can be deployed from or retracted into a winder (15). The rear surface (6) of the head (2) contains cooling air vents (5). The TV receiver can be translated, tilted up or down, and panned to left or right, by remote control.
