The circuit for distributing address to a trunk station of two-way CATV system conprises a microprocessor (11), an external control unit (12) for distributing address by using a front key to process the addresses; a RAM memory (13) for temporarily storing the processed address; an EEPROM memory (14) for permanently storing the address of the RAM memory (13) to correct it; a MODEM (16) for communicate with the CATV system; and an error display unit (17) for displaying error generation states upon address inputting. The circuit reduces the number of input/output ports of the microprocessor.
