<p>PURPOSE:To sense the relative blurring of an image and to lock a shutter or give a warning sign by performing discrete cosine transformation to the image data of an image to be photographed with an encoding means at every frame so that it may be split to respective frequency components and observing hourly the change thereof. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal outputted from an image pickup part 1 is amplified by a pre-amplifier 2, converted into a digital signal by an A/D conversion part 3 and tentatively stored in a frame memory 4. The encoding part 5 divides the image data stored in the frame memory 4 to plural blocks consisting of n.n picture elements as one block, and the discrete cosine (DCT) transformation is performed at every block to split to the respective frequency components. A DCT factor thus obtained is inputted in a blurring detection part 6 and compared at every unit time to detect the blurring of the image. The relative blurring of an object in horizontal and vertical directions is sensed. When the blurring is hand blurring, the shutter is locked and when the object is moved, the warning sign is displayed in a finder.</p> |
