<p>PURPOSE:To allow the use at a standard tape speed by recording a standard signal by a 1st magnetic head and alternately recording only the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th signals for tracking servo by the 1st and 2nd magnetic heads. CONSTITUTION:After the standard signal (S) is recorded toward the direction of an arrow B by an A head 6, a pilot signal 5A is recorded and a synchronizing signal 4A1 is recorded after a prescribed margin space is left and again the standard tape (S) is recorded after the prescribed margin spacing is left. The synchronizing signals 4B1 and the pilot signals 5B1 are then lap written in this order by a B head 7. A series of such procedures are periodically repeated. The standard tape for tracking adjustment at the standard tape speed is formed in this way.</p> |
