ELECTRODE MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To decrease internal resistance and obtain large output current by using silver vanadic acid having copper sulfide fine particles on a surface as an electrode of a battery. CONSTITUTION:An electrode material composed of silver vanadic acid compound particles having copper sulfide fine particles on a surface is used in a solid battery using silver ion conductive solid electrolyte 3. That is, having the copper sulfide fine particles excellent in electron conductivity on the surface permits smooth proceeding of electron transmission on the surface of the silver vanadic acid compound particle and between the particles. In addition sulfur component in the copper sulfide particles on the surface and silver ions in silver vanadic acid and/or the solid electrolyte function with each other to enhance ionic connection between the silver vanadic acid particle and the solid electrolyte particle. Thus internal resistance in the solid battery is largely decreased and take-out of large output current is possible.
