<p>PURPOSE: To stabilize a ship 1 in good performance by sensing the momentary rolling angle of the ship or a parameter associated therewith, controlling the direction of the waterjet, and lessening the rolling angle. CONSTITUTION: A control unit 10 controls the propelling device of a ship 1 to work with at least two waterjets, and its sensing device 8 senses the momentary rolling angle of the ship 1 or a parameter associated therewith and emits corresponding rolling angle signals. The control unit 10 receives the rolling angle signals from the sensing device 8, translates them as one of the variable signals for vessel 1, processes the rolling angle signals by algorithm, supplies control signals to a PS actuator 3 and SS actuator 4, and decreases the rolling angle by controlling the direction of the waterjet.</p> |
