PURPOSE:To secure the stability of a vehicle at time of braking in a suitable manner by constituting a steering ratio characteristic, being set by a rear-wheel steering controller at time of operation of an automatic system, to be compensated on the basis of the control state of a braking device of each wheel. CONSTITUTION:A control unit U2 is provided with the so-called split control means which controls braking hydraulic pressure in each raking device so as to sensor the optimum braking distance of a vehicle 1 on the basis of the braking hydraulic pressure detected of each braking device 23 at a time when the vehicle 1 runs on a travel road in a state that a friction factor differs in symmetrical wheels each. In the vehicle 1, a signal S indicating an operating state and a control state in an automatic braking system is inputted into the control unit U2 of a rear-wheel steering system from an ABS control unit U1, and the control unit U1 is constituted so as to set and change each steering ratio characteristic of rear wheels 2RL, 2RR with front wheels 2FL, 2FR according to the operating and controlling states of the ABS for each braking device 23. |
