PURPOSE:To prevent a speed change shock from its change by setting operating oil pressure of a friction element at the time of a speed change basically in accordance with a throttle opening while correcting this operating oil pressure by using an intake air amount. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission selects a predetermined speed change shift by selectively hydraulically actuating various friction elements and performs a speed change to the other speed change shift by changing the hydraulically operated friction elements. In the case of the speed change such operated, an operating oil pressure setting means sets an operating oil pressure of the friction element at the time of the speed change basically in accordance with a throttle opening detected in a throttle opening detecting means, and this set operating oil pressure is corrected by a correcting means being based on an intake air amount detected in an intake air amount detecting means. The operating oil pressure, thus set at the time of the speed change, is made self- correctable in a relation to a change of an engine output, and dispersion of speed change quality can be decreased by preventing a speed change shock from its change. |
