<p>PURPOSE:To constitute the casting machine so that a molten metal heated to a high temperature is poured continuously and instantaneously into a mold and it is not cooled suddenly by melting a casting material at a high temperature by arc heating between an arc generating electrode held in a casting chamber and the casting material in a conductive crucible. CONSTITUTION:A casting material is put into a crucible 2, it is melted by an arc column of a high temperature generated between an arc generating electrode 6 and the casting material in the conductive crucible 2 and a molten metal of a high temperature is obtained. When the crucible 2 is inclined around an axis center of a horizontal axis 3 after a prescribed time for melting elapses, a molten metal is poured into a cavity 41 of a mold 4 from its port edge 21 and casting is executed. In such a way, at the time of pouring, the molten metal permeates to every nook and corner with fluidity in the cavity 41 of the mold 4 without being cooled suddenly, and a sound casting can be obtained.</p> |
