摘要 PURPOSE:To avoid any dangerous vehicle motion at time of high speed running by performing an arm's turning center displacement by circular motion of each rotation member and axial movements of a block member by both first and second driving means, while changing the conversion rate of an operating rod tightening socket into a rectilineal motion, and decreasing each mechanical maximum movable steering angle value of rear wheels according to a car speed. CONSTITUTION:When a rotating member 50 is turned round a threaded shaft member 30 in relation to a housing 10 by a first driving means, a ball joint performs its circular motion around a turning axis according to a rotated variable of the member 50. This circular motion is supported by a second ball member 58, and then converted into a rectilineal motion making an operating rod 20 move along the axis. At this time, a block member 60 is moved by a second driving means in the axial direction, and when the turning center of an arm member 54 is shifted to some extent and thereby a lever ratio is changed, the rod 20 moves according to the lever ratio and rear wheels are steered. Consequently, when axial direction travel of the member 60 is large and the lever ratio is in the allowable maximum value, maximum displacement of the rod 20 is given, so that if it is the allowable minimum value, the displacement of the rod 60 becomes minimized.
