PURPOSE:To easily obtain an alkaline earth metallic aluminosilicate sintered body by roasting at low temp. by mixing boron oxide (precursor) with the specified alkaline earth metal type zeolite (calcined substance) and molding the mixture and roasting this molded body. CONSTITUTION:Alkaline earth metal type zeolite is prepared which is shown in a formula (M' shows alkaline earth metallic ion, M<2> shows alkali metallic ion and ammonium ion, (i+j)=1; (j)=0-0.15; (l)=0.1-1.1; (m)=1.5-2.5; m/l is <=3, (n) is zero and positive number; however excepting the case wherein M' shows Ca ion and (i+j)=1, (j)=0-0.1). Boron oxide or a boron compd. capable of being changed into boron oxide by roasting is mixed with this zeolite or an amorphous calcined substance obtained by calcination of this zeolite. Then this mixture is molded and the molded form is roasted at <=1000 deg.C. Thereby an alkaline earth metallic aluminosilicate-sintered body is obtained which is preferable for the electrical insulating material, etc. |
