<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape cassette from being damaged at the time of inserting the cassette upside-down without increasing the thickness of a cassette bottom plate by forming engaging grooves and engaging projection parts respectively on the bottom plate of the cassette and a cover part correspondingly to a pair of engaging projections formed on the bottom plate of a storage board of a cassette loader. CONSTITUTION:In the case of storing a small cassette 1 to a small cassette storing board 12, the engaging grooves 4, 5 are engaged with respective engaging projections 15, 14 in the normal direction so as to be slided and engaged. Since the cover 3 of the cassette 1 is thinner than the thickness of the cassette itself, the center projection 16 is engaged with the center groove of the cassette and slid without being locked by a cover 3. If the cassette is inserted upside-down in error, the engaging projection parts 8, 9 are abutted upon the projections 14, 15 and the cassette can not be inserted. Since a gradient face 6 is not brought into contact with the projections 15, 14, the face 6 can be prevented from being run upon the projections 15, 14 and damaged. If the cassette is inserted from its final end, the end part of the rear face of the cassette 1 is abutted upon the projections 14, 15 and the cassette can not be inserted.</p> |
