<p>A cable stripping tool has a first and a second leg (1, 2) which are pivotally connected together. The first leg (1) is provided with a fitting (3-5) for receiving at least one cutter (11, 12). The second leg (2) is provided opposite the fitting (3-5) with a seating (7) for supporting a cable in a position perpendicular to the cutter (11, 12). The legs (1, 2) are connected to a respective end of an arcuate resilient bridge (18) connecting said legs toghether and can be pivoted relative to one another in a longitudinal central plane (9) which contains both of the legs, by flexing the bridge. The bridge (18) forms, together with further arcuate regions (20) of the legs (1, 2), a substantially closed, transversely extending finger-accommodating opening (21).</p> |
