Conveyor belt with parallel metal chain links - forms closed ring and has links forming belt sections and linking bars

The conveyor belt consists of parallel, metal chain links (2) connected to form an enclosed ring each forming a belt section (1). The distance between the chain links (2) is greater than the thickness of a chain link (2). The adjacent chain links (2) of each belt section (1) moulded in one piece are joined by two symmetrically opposite facing linking bars (3,4) on the cross sectional centre plane. Both contact surfaces (A) of the belt sections (1) are smooth. USE/ADVANTAGE - The chain links of the conveyor belt section are symmetrical with the centre lines in a lengthwise and crosswise direction.
