PURPOSE:To prevent the heat generation and the ignition of a loading resistor by providing a power source with a stopping means to stop the supply of supply voltage at the time of overload. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal drive circuit is provided with a protecting diode 8 and a current limiter circuit 10 for power supply as a protective device, and the cathode of the diode 8 is connected to the junction point of the loading resistor 3, a horizontal drive transformer 2 and a capacitor 4. At the time of abnormal operation, when the primary winding of the horizontal drive transformer 2 becomes out of order at a short circuit mode, an overcurrent flows into the loading resistor 3, and simultaneously, the cathode voltage of the diode 8 becomes below second supply voltage 9. Accordingly, the diode 8 becomes conductive, and since load to a second power source becomes the overload extremely, the current limiter circuit 10 of the power source operates, and the supply of the first supply voltage 7 and the second supply voltage 9 is stopped. Thus, the heat generation and the ignition of the loading resistor 3 can be prevented. |
