The invention relates to a ski (1) consisting of a core (2) and at least an upper and a lower covering layer. Containers (8) are fixed in recesses (6) in the region of the binding. Inserts for anchoring fastening screws are inserted in the containers (8). Each insert consists of a layer of elastomeric material and a layer of solid material, e.g., metal or glass fibre-reinforced plastic. To prevent the layer (10) from being perforated or subjected to tensile stress, this layer (10) is located beneath the layer (9) of solid material and is connected both to the base (8a) of the container (8) and to this latter layer (9).
