The vehicle tyre monitoring system contains a press. sensor (1) consisting of a vacuum chamber (11) which has a counter contact (10) adjustable using an adjustment and securing ring (9) and a bimetallic temp. compensation ring (8). The sensor transfers an HF signal via a switch contact (10) from one coil to another coil when the desired tyre press. is exceeded. A speed sensor signal is superimposed on the coil signals at different frequencies with different bandwidths via a rotor. The wheel speed sensor transforms an a.c. voltage supplying the wheel electronics whilst at rest. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for measuring tyre press., temp., applied forces and wear. Full temp. compensation is achieved.
