An ornamental fountain and a process for its mfr are claimed, the fountain comprising a columnar base (2) having in its top, a hemispherical trough (13) contg a ball (4) which is rotated by water supplied by an angled feed pipe (8). The novelty is that the base is a synthetic resin-filled pot (6) into which the ball (4) is pressed before setting to leave a trough impression (3). ADVANTAGE - The process is inexpensive and ensures the requisite precision for reliable rotation of the ball.
