摘要 To lay road markings, the reverse of the marking material is coated with an adhesive which is dry at normal temps. As the material passes over one or more laying wheels, adhesive is activated by hot air or a heat source as the material is positioned on the road surface and pressed into place to be bonded by the adhesive. Adhesive is a heat sealed material, a bitumen adhesive, or a thermoplastic adhesive, to be activated by microwaves through integrated water molecules or C or conjugate dosed polymers pref polypyrrole, polyaniline, polythiophene, polyfuran and polyparaphenylene. Road marking material is of C, metal or ceramics, or needle point marking types. Road marking material emerges from a magazine (11) to be held (3) at a laying wheel (1). Heat source (5,6), parallel to the outer circumference of the laying wheel heats the adhesive layer so that, as the wheel lays the marker on the road surface it is pressed into place to be held as laid. Pref heating source uses microwave energy, or hot air (6). Marking material is fed to the laying wheel from an alternating or drum magazine. One or more air jets (10) clean the road surface before the marking is laid. The laying appts is self-propelled, is pushed or towed. ADVANTAGE - Technique gives a simple operation to lay road markings in place and bond them in position in one action.
