<p>A method and an installation for preparing and delivering feedstuffs for animals, particularly piglets. The method involves (a) preparing in a mixer (20) a predetermined quantity of a mixture containing a dry feedstuff and a diluting liquid with a predetermined concentration of the dry feedstuff; (b) delivering along a single duct (37) to the trough (9a, 9b, 9c) of each of the pens a quantity of the mixture obtained in (a), at a single concentration, dependent on the final amount of feedstuff to be prepared for each trough (9); and finally (c) diluting the mixture delivered in (b), in each trough (9), with the diluting liquid in order to obtain the final quantity of feedstuff having a predetermined concentration for each trough. This dilution is carried out by delivering the diluting liquid along the same duct (37) as used in (b) to deliver the mixture prepared in (a).</p> |
