A fitting made (mainly) of thermoplastics, has one or more feet for spaced attachment to a mounting surface, the novelty being that the fitting is a blow-moulded part having a main body (2) and an integral foot-forming extension (5). The extension (5) is bonded, at its free end, to an annular or cap-shaped connector shoe (4), the inner contour of which at least at its end region (6) adjacent the fitting, matches the outer contour of the mating region of the extension (5). At least the peripheral region of the outer bottom face of the shoe (4) matches the contour of the mounting surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - The fitting may be a spoiler for an automobile. It can be attached to the mounting surface in a secure and stable manner without placing limitations on the external shape of the attachment foot.
