Woven hollow-yarn tape having weft yarns and hollow yarns as warp yarns, which is designed a double-weft tape, in which the tape edge is preferably designed as a knitted edge and the weft density is substantially lower than in normal woven textile tapes, and which is produced in that the weft insertion takes place in a similar way to that of a shuttleless ribbon loom, especially a needle ribbon loom, preferably freshly spun hollow yarns being processed. ……
