<p>PURPOSE: To improve grouping accuracy by increasing the number of cans to be grouped per unit time more than the number of cans to be supplied per unit time when cans supplied by the number according to the capacity of a sterilizer are repeatedly counted at intervals and are formed into a prescribed number of groups. CONSTITUTION: Cans carried by a supply belt 10 are regulated to a number according to the capacity of a sterilizer by a turnstile 19, are further made a can group 16 by repeatedly being counted and divided at prescribed intervals by counting devices 14, 18, are fed to an inserting device 11a by an intermediate belt 15 and are fed to the sterilizer. At this time, revolving speed of the turnstile 14 constituting the counting device 14 is set to be greater than revolving speed of the turnstile 19. Therefore, counting capability of the counting device 14 becomes more than the number of supply and the counting device 14 is capable of avoiding can closing on the supply belt 10 for a stoppage for a short time.</p> |
