The structural element for a functional, load-carrying or decorative, interior or exterior structure of the furniture, bathroom, hall-facing, flooring, laboratory, kiosk, stairway, cladding type or the like, comprising a laminated sheet made from phenolic resin having an exterior surface constituting the visible surface of the element and a non-visible interior surface, the element being characterised by a resinous supporting layer filled with reinforcing fibres integral with the interior surface of the said laminated sheet made from phenolic resin, with the possibility of an insert held between two layers of resin filled with glass fibres.
