<p>The distribution valve for a tyre inflating and deflating apparatus comprises a chamber (45) into which there opens a first tube (1) leading from a compressed air source and a second tube (2) leading to the tyre. The chamber (45) constitutes a cylindrical seat accommodated in which is a main slide (30) comprising three pistons (32, 36, 38), the slide being movable between a "closed" position in which the second piston (36), in the intermediate position, is situated between the ports of the first (1) and second (2) tubes, thereby acting as a shutter, and an "open" position in which the space between the second (36) and third (38) piston allows communication between the compressed air source and the tyre to be inflated. The external face of the third piston (38) is at atmospheric pressure. The valve comprises means (31/33) for moving the slide (30) to the "open" position, as well as means (34) for returning the slide (30) to the "closed" position, the latter means acting on the external face of the first piston (32). <IMAGE></p> |
