A machine-driven tool for cutting of plate, comprising a machine housing inside which is arranged a motion transmission mechanism, which can drive a connected reel cutter arrangement, is characterized by a) a driving roller mounted in the machine housing with reel cutters arranged on either side of it, whose edges are situated at surfaces of rotation lying closest to the drive roller and extend radially outside the periphery of the drive roller with a distance which is at least as large, and only just precisely so much larger than the thickness of the plate material that the plate material is entirely cut through; and b) a pressure roller interacting with the drive roller and the reel cutters, which is mounted in the machine housing beneath the reel cutters and the motion transmission mechanism. The cutting tool has the advantage of being self-feeding, it allows for contour cutting especially for thin-sheet tubes, and it is quiet in operation. <IMAGE> |
