<p>A closing device (10) with a pneumatic drive (20), for example for a door of a motor vehicle, is provided. The drive (20) of the closing device (10) can be installed, even under confined conditions of space, if it is connected to the outlet (34) of a pneumatic conveyor device (30), the inlet (32) of which is connected to the interior (40) of a tubular sealing element (42) arranged between the door and its frame. The drive (20) is designed in the form of a diaphragm cell (22), and each drive has its own vane pump as a conveyor device (30). During the closing of the door, the sealing element (42) is evacuated and the drive (10) subjected to compressed air. For opening, the pressure conditions are reversed, whilst a relief valve (44) limits the pressure in the sealing element (42). An electrical control and monitoring of the pump (30) is possible. <IMAGE></p> |
