The circuit for automatically lcontrolling a noise reduction level to eliminate a noise signal includes an amplifier (5) for amplifyign a contour signal, a contour signal mean value detector (10), a noise reduction level controller (15) for varying the mean value voltage detected by the detector (10) to control a noise reduction level, positive and negative noise reduction circuits (20)(25), and an output level controller (30) for controlling and outputting the level of the contour signal in which the noise signal is eliminated.
