PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an assembly work by providing each working table in the vicinity of each working part conveying means of an intermediate unit, and return part conveying means for returning parts boxes from one side working part conveying means to the other side working part conveying means. CONSTITUTION:A supply unit 1 is provided with a means 27 for supplying and conveying a plurality of supplied parts box, and a plurality of intermediate unit 2 are provided with a pair of working part conveying belts 14 which are connected to both ends of the supplying and conveying means (belt) 27 and which convey the parts boxes 20 in their reverse directions respectively, and a plurality of working tables 9 for an assembly work of parts in the parts boxes 20 in the vicinity of the belts 14. A return unit 3 is provided with a return belt 35 which returns the parts boxes 20 supplied by one side working part conveying belt 14 to the other side working part conveying belt 14. In this manner, a manufacturing line can be extended or contracted to a proper length conforming to a manufacturing scale and also the improvement of efficiency of an assembly work can be attempted. |
